How do you fix a throttle cable that is to short on motorbike?

There are a few ways to fix a throttle cable that is too short on a motorbike.

* Add a throttle cable extension. This is the easiest and most common way to fix a short throttle cable. Throttle cable extensions are available at most motorcycle parts stores. To install a throttle cable extension, simply disconnect the old throttle cable from the carburetor or throttle body, and then connect the extension cable. Finally, reconnect the other end of the extension cable to the throttle grip.

* Replace the throttle cable. If the throttle cable is too short, you may need to replace it with a longer one. To do this, you must first remove the old throttle cable. Then, measure the length of the old cable and purchase a new one of the same length. Connect the new cable to the carburetor or throttle body and throttle grip.

* Adjust the throttle cable. In some cases, the throttle cable may only need to be adjusted. To do this, you must first loosen the locknut on the throttle cable. Then, turn the adjusting screw until the throttle cable is the desired length. Finally, tighten the locknut.

Once you have fixed the short throttle cable, test it to make sure that it is working properly.
