Turn the ignition to the "off" position.
Remove the key from the ignition.
Wait 30 seconds.
Reinsert the key into the ignition.
Turn the ignition to the "on" position.
Hold down the lock button on the key fob for 5 seconds.
Press any other key on the key fob.
Test the key fob by pressing the lock button.
If the key fob is not working properly, you may need to have it reprogrammed.
