1. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position, then turn it back to the "Off" position.
2. Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the key fob for 5 seconds.
3. The alarm should now be disabled.
If the alarm does not disable, try the following steps:
1. Locate the alarm siren, which is usually mounted in the engine bay or behind the front bumper.
2. Disconnect the power cable from the alarm siren.
3. The alarm should now be disabled.
Note: Disabling the alarm will also prevent it from sounding if the car is broken into. If you are concerned about security, you may want to consider installing an aftermarket alarm system.
