1. Locate the SRS Control Unit, usually found under the driver’s seat or beneath the center console.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.
3. Wait at least 3 minutes to make sure all residual electrical charge has dissipated from the SRS system.
4. Remove the covers protecting the SRS Control Unit.
5. Locate the Diagnostic Connector on the SRS Control Unit.
6. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine.
7. Connect a wire between the terminals 2 and 3 of the Diagnostic Connector for about 5 seconds.
8. Turn the key to the “OFF” position and reconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.
9. Restart the engine to check if the SRS warning light has been reset.
