1. Remove the Door Panel:
- Use the door panel removal tool to carefully pry up the door panel from the bottom, working your way up the sides.
- Disconnect any electrical connectors or controls attached to the door panel and set it aside.
2. Remove the Old Window:
- Locate the screws holding the glass door window in place. Typically, there are screws along the top edge and sides of the window.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws.
- Carefully lift the old window out of the door frame. Be cautious not to break the glass.
3. Clean the Door Frame:
- Use a putty knife or plastic pry tool to gently scrape away any old adhesive or sealant from the door frame.
- Ensure the surface is clean and smooth for proper adhesion of the new window.
4. Test Fit the New Window:
- Place the new glass window into the door frame to check for proper fit and alignment.
5. Apply Adhesive:
- Apply a bead of adhesive tape or silicon sealant around the edges of the glass window where it will make contact with the door frame.
- Press the window firmly into place to ensure proper adhesion.
6. Replace the Door Panel:
- Re-attach any electrical connectors or controls to the door panel.
- Align the door panel with the door frame and press it into place until it securely clicks or snaps into position.
