How can you tell if your 1999 mountaineer has all wheel anti lock or just rear lock?

The easiest way is to look at the rear differential assembly. Vehicles so equipped will have an ABS modulator assembly on the rear differential. The modulator will have steel brake lines connecting to it. Rear wheel ABS does not have any additional components on the rear differential assembly than what any non ABS vehicle would have.
