How to reset ignition on 2003 Ford Focus?

To perform a reset on your 2003 Ford Focus, follow the steps below:

Disconnect the Car Battery.

Insert Your Ford key and turn it to Position II (On).

Now that the key is in Position II (On), take your foot off the brake pedal and place your left foot on the clutch pedal (manual) or brake pedal (automatic) and engage it completely.

Now turn your key switch back to the Off (Position 0). Hold the pedal depressed while doing this.

Keep your foot on the pedal for 30 seconds.

Wait for 15 minutes and re-connect the car's battery.

Press the unlock button your key fob and wait for the vehicle's horn to honk.

Try to start your car and test if it works.
