1. Pull up on the small black lever on the inside center of the trunk lock mechanism.
2. Insert the ignition key into the lock and turn counterclockwise. Note: The ignition key and the trunk key are different.
3. Pull the trunk lid open from the outside of the vehicle.
4. Retrieve the keys from inside the trunk.
5. Close and latch the trunk lid. Note: Use caution because the trunk lid can close forcefully due to its hydraulic pistons.
