1. Gather the necessary tools:
- New wiper blade
- Flat-head screwdriver or a pair of pliers
2. Locate the rear wiper blade. It is located at the back of the vehicle, on the rear windshield.
3. Lift the wiper arm. There is a small plastic tab on the wiper arm that you need to push up to release the wiper blade.
4. Remove the old wiper blade. Once the wiper arm is lifted, you can slide the old wiper blade off of the arm.
5. Install the new wiper blade. Slide the new wiper blade onto the wiper arm, making sure that it is properly seated.
6. Lower the wiper arm. Push down on the wiper arm until it clicks into place.
7. Test the wiper blade. Turn on the rear windshield wiper and make sure that the new blade is working properly.
Additional tips:
- If you are having difficulty removing the old wiper blade, you can use a flat-head screwdriver or a pair of pliers to pry it off.
- Be careful not to damage the windshield when removing or installing the wiper blade.
- If you live in an area with a lot of snow or ice, you may want to consider installing a winter wiper blade. Winter wiper blades are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and provide better visibility.
