1. Turn the key to the “On” position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the gas pedal for at least 10 seconds.
3. Turn the key to the “Off” position.
4. Wait for 15 seconds.
5. Turn the key to the “On” position again.
6. The check engine light should now be reset.
If the check engine light does not reset, you may need to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis.
