* A Phillips head screwdriver
* A flat head screwdriver
* A pair of pliers
* A new pair of lift shocks
* A can of spray lubricant
2. Prepare the window. Roll the window all the way down.
3. Remove the old lift shocks. There are two lift shocks on each side of the window. To remove them, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold them in place. Once the screws are removed, use a flat head screwdriver to pry the lift shocks off.
4. Install the new lift shocks. Insert the new lift shocks into the holes in the window frame. Use the screws that you removed in step 3 to secure them in place.
5. Test the lift shocks. Roll the window all the way up and down. The lift shocks should smoothly raise and lower the window.
6. Apply spray lubricant. Spray some spray lubricant on the lift shocks to help them move smoothly.
7. Enjoy your newly repaired window!
