When i turn on the defrost no air seems to go windshield?

Possible Causes:

* Frozen evaporator core: The evaporator core is responsible for cooling the air that flows through the vents. If it is frozen, it will block the airflow to the windshield.

* Blocked vent: There may be a blockage in the vent that is preventing the air from flowing out.

* Blend door is stuck: The blend door controls the flow of air between the hot and cold air ducts. If it is stuck, it may not be allowing any air to flow to the windshield.

* Faulty blower motor: The blower motor is responsible for circulating the air through the vents. If it is faulty, it will not be able to supply enough air to the windshield.

Solution:

* Check for a frozen evaporator core: If the evaporator core is frozen, it will need to be thawed out. This can be done by running the heating system on high for several minutes.

* Check for a blocked vent: If there is a blockage in the vent, it will need to be cleared. This can be done by using a long thin object, such as a straightened coat hanger, to poke through the vent.

* Check the blend door: If the blend door is stuck, it will need to be freed up. This can be done by removing the heater control panel and manually moving the door.

* Check the blower motor: If the blower motor is faulty, it will need to be replaced. This is a job for a qualified mechanic.
