1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Locate the lug nut wrench and spare tire. These are typically stored in the trunk of your vehicle.
3. Use the lug nut wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the wheel that has the hub cap you want to remove. Do not remove the lug nuts completely.
4. Use a flat-head screwdriver or pry bar to gently pry the hub cap off of the wheel. Be careful not to damage the wheel.
5. Once the hub cap is removed, you can completely remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
When you are ready to reinstall the hub cap, simply place it back on the wheel and press it down until it snaps into place. Tighten the lug nuts by hand until they are snug, then use the lug nut wrench to tighten them fully.
