* Locate the camshaft cover on the engine.
* Remove the camshaft cover bolts and remove the cover.

* The timing marks should be aligned with the corresponding marks on the cylinder head.
Crankshaft
* Locate the crankshaft pulley.
* Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and remove the pulley.
* The crankshaft timing mark is located on the crankshaft sprocket.
* The timing mark is a single notch.
* The timing mark should be aligned with the corresponding mark on the engine block.
To set the timing
1. Turn the crankshaft so that the timing mark is aligned with the corresponding mark on the engine block.
2. Turn the camshaft so that the timing marks are aligned with the corresponding marks on the cylinder head.
3. Install the crankshaft pulley and bolt.
4. Install the camshaft cover and bolts.
