2. Drain the excess oil. You can do this by removing the oil drain plug and letting the oil drain out. Be sure to catch the oil in a container so that it doesn't spill.
3. Replace the oil drain plug. Once the excess oil has been drained, replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.
4. Add the correct amount of oil to the motorcycle. Check the motorcycle's owner's manual to determine the correct amount of oil. Be sure to use the correct type of oil as well.
5. Start the motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes. This will help to circulate the new oil and make sure that it is properly distributed throughout the engine.
6. Check the oil level again. Make sure that the oil level is between the "full" and "add" marks on the oil dipstick.
