1. Disconnect the battery. This is to prevent any electrical shock while you are working on the car.
2. Locate the crank sensor. The crank sensor is located on the front of the engine, near the bottom. It is a small, cylindrical-shaped sensor with two wires coming out of it.
3. Disconnect the crank sensor wires. Use a screwdriver to pry the connectors off of the sensor.
4. Remove the crank sensor mounting bolt. Use a wrench to loosen the bolt that holds the sensor in place.
5. Remove the crank sensor. Once the bolt is removed, you can pull the sensor out of the engine.
6. Install the new crank sensor. Insert the new sensor into the engine and tighten the mounting bolt.
7. Connect the crank sensor wires. Reconnect the connectors to the sensor.
8. Reconnect the battery.
9. Start the car and check for leaks. Make sure that there are no leaks from the crank sensor.
10. Test the sensor. Drive the car around and see if the engine is running smoothly. If it is not, then you may need to adjust the sensor.
