Where is the fuel filter on a 05 Ford Focus?

There is no fuel filter on a 2005 Ford Focus. Instead, Ford used a fuel strainer at the fuel system inlet of the fuel-injection pump with a screen made of plastic/stainless-steel that is not considered by Ford to be a replaceable service part (i.e. non-serviceable component), as in most modern models.
