1. Open the hood and secure it with the lift support prop.
2. Remove the air intake tube assembly and the battery hold-down bracket assembly.
3. Disconnect the Ignition Coil Assembly to spark plug wire connector (1).
4. Unscrew the ignition coils and separate from their spark plugs.
5. Remove the old spark plugs from the engine using the spark plug wrench.
6. Replace the spark plugs gap them and to proper torque specs with new ones according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
7. Reattach the ignition coils, reconnect the ignition coil assembly to the spark plug wires, re-install the air intake tube assembly, and reconnect the battery hold-down bracket.
8. Start the engine and check that it runs smoothly with no misfires.
