How do you remove the seat from your ninja 650r?

Step 1: Remove the passenger seat

To remove the passenger seat, locate the two screws on the cowl just above the seat. Remove these screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 2: Remove the cowl

Once the screws are removed, lift up on the cowl to remove it.

Step 3: Remove the seat bolts

Locate the two bolts at the front of the seat. Remove these bolts with a 10mm hex wrench.

Step 4: Remove the seat

Once the bolts are removed, lift up on the seat to remove it.

To reinstall the seat, simply follow these steps in reverse order.
