1. Locate the emergency hood release. The emergency hood release is a small black lever located on the driver's side of the engine bay, just below the radiator.
2. Pull the emergency hood release. Pull the emergency hood release lever towards you until you feel it click. This will release the hood latch.
3. Raise the hood. Once the hood latch is released, you can raise the hood by lifting it up from the front.
Note: If the hood is still not opening, you may need to use a pry bar or flat-head screwdriver to manually release the hood latch. Be careful not to damage the hood or surrounding components when using a pry bar or screwdriver.
