1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the SRS (Supplementary Restraint System) control unit under the driver's seat.
3. Disconnect the battery positive terminal
4. Remove the SRS electrical connector by pulling it gently upwards at the connector housing latch or release. Wait one minute
5. Reconnect the electrical connector to SRS control unit. Connect the battery positive terminal
6. Turn on the ignition; the SRS light on the instrument panel should come on for a few seconds and then go off. Reset Complete
*If the SIR light won't extinguish, then a fault exists or SRS control module replacement could be required or further diagnosis required if SIR indicator remains illuminated.**
