Where is the blower motor resistor located on a 1999 jeep wrangler?

1. Locate the blower motor resistor. On the 1999 Jeep Wrangler, it is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, behind the glove box.

2. Remove the glove box. To do this, open the glove box and press the two tabs on the sides of the glove box. The glove box will then drop down.

3. Locate the blower motor resistor. It is a small, black box with a few wires connected to it.

4. Disconnect the wires from the blower motor resistor. Be careful not to lose the screws that hold the wires in place.

5. Remove the blower motor resistor. It is held in place by a few screws. Remove the screws and the blower motor resistor will come out.

6. Replace the blower motor resistor. Insert the new blower motor resistor into the housing and secure it with the screws.

7. Reconnect the wires to the blower motor resistor. Be sure to tighten the screws that hold the wires in place.

8. Replace the glove box. Insert the glove box into the housing and press it up until it clicks into place.

9. Test the blower motor. Turn on the ignition and turn the blower motor on. The blower motor should now work properly.
