Step 2: Prepare the Engine

2. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes.
3. Check the coolant level and add more coolant if necessary.
Step 8: Install the Oil Filter
1. Apply a thin layer of oil to the oil filter gasket.
2. Screw on the oil filter and tighten it until it is snug.
Step 9: Change the Oil
1. Place a drain pan under the oil pan.
2. Remove the oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain into the pan.
3. Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it until it is snug.
4. Add new oil to the engine.
5. Check the oil level and add more oil if necessary.
Step 10: Replace the Spark Plugs
1. Use a wrench to remove the spark plugs.
2. Gap the new spark plugs to the specified gap.
3. Screw in the new spark plugs and tighten them until they are snug.
Step 11: Reconnect the Battery
1. Connect the negative battery cable.
Step 12: Start the Engine
1. Start the engine and check for leaks.
