1. Locate the air filter housing: The air filter housing is located in the engine bay, on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is a black plastic box with a hose connected to it.
2. Remove the air filter housing cover: There are two clips that hold the cover in place. Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the clips and remove the cover.
3. Remove the old air filter: The old air filter is located inside the housing. Simply lift it out.
4. Clean the air filter housing: Use a vacuum cleaner to clean any dirt or debris from the air filter housing.
5. Install the new air filter: Place the new air filter into the housing. Make sure that it is seated properly.
6. Reinstall the air filter housing cover: Reattach the air filter housing cover and secure it with the two clips.
7. Start the vehicle and check for leaks: Start the vehicle and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks around the air filter housing. If there are any leaks, reattach the clips until the leak stops.
