Fully Charged Live is back this summer, set to be better, bigger and busier than last year. An exhilarating festival full of electric vehicles and clean energy technology, there will be around 100 exhibitors (including DriveElectric), over 100 electric vehicles will be on display and test drive opportunities available for some cars. After the huge success of the 2018 event, they have decided to add an extra day! So Fully Charged Live is back this year for 3 days at the world-famous Silverstone circuit track this year on Friday 7th, Saturday 8th & Sunday 10th June. Tickets now on sale!

Tesla Model Y makes an appearance

Tesla reveals the final member of the S3XY quartet, the Model Y. Model Y is an all-electric, mid-size SUV designed for maximum versatility and safety. Model Y will start at $39,000 for the Standard Range version, and will also come in Long Range, Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive, and Performance variants.

BMW teases upcoming EV’s in cold-weather testing!

BMW shows prototypes of the next all-electric cars which are heading for production. The BMW iX3, iNext and i4 are shown undergoing testing in winter conditions. Production models aren’t expected to arrive until around 2021 and prices are yet to be announced. However range figures are predicted to be over 250 miles for these models and the BMW i4 will be able to achieve over 350 miles to a charge.

Morrisons plan to install chargers in stores across the UK

Morrisons has teamed up with ChargePoint Services to install rapid electric vehicle chargers across its supermarkets nationwide, enabling customers to top up their electric vehicles in around 20 minutes while they shop for groceries instore.

We Partnered with the Fully Charged show and Rolec to offer one Fully Charged show audience member a free home charge point and an electric car free for a year. The winner was selected at random from the Fully Charged Audience Survey participants. If you watch the video through you’ll see DriveElectric Adam appear in a Kia Soul EV at about 6 mins in.
