The UK’s 3rd annual Clean Air Day was on the 20th June, and as always it’s aim was to raise awareness of air pollution and the impact exposure has on us all, and encourage action to tackle the issue. First launched in 2017, the day celebrates the small ways we can reduce our footprint and improve the air quality in our community. DriveElectric got involved in a number events which aim to increase knowledge and awareness for electric vehicles and EV charging for both businesses and individuals.

Once again, the Fully Charged show came to life at Silverstone Circut and gave us ‘Fully Charged LIVE’. The event didn’t disappoint; the crowds proving to be ‘Bigger, Better and Busier’ than last year. With over 100 exhibitors (including DriveElectric!) and over 30 live talks sessions the 3-day event was packed with all things electric. One lucky attendee won a FREE Hyundai Kona Electric for a year courtesy of DriveElectric.
After recently debuting the e-208, Peugeot reveals the new model of the 2008 will be available in a battery electric version with 193-mile range. Now the second vehicle from Peugeot with a battery electric vehicle (BEV) option, this is a progression of the manufacturer’s commitment to introduce electrified options across the entire Peugeot range by 2023.

Mel Creedy from the DriveElectric Business Development Team features on Notts TV. She talks about the benefits of electric cars and the Ultra Low Electric Vehicles Project’s electric vehicle trials which are available for businesses around the Nottingham area via the Nottingham Workplace Travel Scheme.
